I'm proud to say I am a Decatur native. This is my home. I was born here, left home and came back because I found no other place as friendly and welcoming as Central Illinois. I attended Decatur Public Schools, Illinois Wesleyan University and received a B.A. in Communications from the University of South Florida. I served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, Florida and the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Worked in radio and television in South Carolina and Decatur before owning and operating a retail business for 27 years in Decatur and Springfield. Along the way, I married my wife, Cindy, of 32 years and we have two grown daughters, Hillary and Kinzie. All three of whom I am very proud. In 2006, with a plan to help my clients achieve their goals and dreams of home ownership, I embarked on a new career in Real Estate. It has been a great ride. I enjoy using my knowledge of the area and the real estate market to help my clients - whether buyers or sellers - gain maximum results. I call it The Sellers Edge. In the past 9 years, I have earned the GRI, SRS and BPOR designations sanctioned by the National Association of REALTORS, which provide me with tools to better serve my clients.
